I am probably going to get a membership to fitness first but i was wondering how much it costs per month. Or how much it usually is for another gym. Thanks

Depending on where you're from, the membership prices vary... I've never heard of Fitness First but the gym I go to is $80/month for membership, which includes all the classes (like spinning, kick boxing, pilates, etc) as well as the sauna, spa, cardio machines, etc... I would look around and make sure the gym you choose offers everything you want for the right price. Good luck!

In Colorado, the places that I have worked at the avg. for monthly dues run about 30-35 dollars. The bigger private gyms with a lot of extras will run about 60-70 dollars per month. Your best option and probably cheapest is your local recreational center. They run about 25 dollars a month and usually have more equipment, such as a pool, basketball, racket ball courts. The only down side is usually the weight room, in older rec. centers will have mainly weight machines. But if your center is only a couple of years old then they may have a lot of free weight equip. The best thing to do is shop around and compare. Like with anything else getting a membership is an investment, so treat it like one. Good luck in finding a good one.

try your local YMCA..usually some of the best rates because its a non profit..also 24 hour fitness can have some good deal on membership fees...you don't say how old you are... there are usually different rates for different age groups..students pay less than adults and senoirs pay less then again...at my Y, a 21-60 year old pays 38 a month for full fitness access...have fun and get moving

Gold's Gym charges me $30/month, w/ a one-year contract. I like Spectrum better, but their memberships are more expensive. Good luck!

Shop around for a gym. Then negotiate with a salesperson. Bally's has a $5 to join bargain and then you can pay as little as $19 per month.
