you get paid for what hours you work. usually it's time and a half. you don't have to work a certain amount to get paid at all

If you are working a holiday there is no requirement for your company to pay you any kind of a premium.

No company is under any obligation to pay you for unworked time which includes holidays/days off, Each company has their own policies so check with HR. Generally speaking though, most companies offer full timers (and the definition varies by company from 32-40 hrs) pd time off.
