It's not blown out of proportion. Instead, it's the culmination of years worth of this type of behavior once again put into the press by Knight himself.
What happened to the "Zero Tolerance" policy instituted by the University at his hiring?
If you want a player to look you in the eyes, then tell him to look at you....don't get physical.
As to the above's comment about Coach K, I am afraid that I must disagree, for you would never see Coach K doing this type of thing in the first place. That's the difference.

what a bunch of sensitive little girls..sports are for men..if you can't handle a little tap go join the drama club or bowling..the player said he had no problem with it..so what right does anyone else have saying they have a problem with it..its only being talked about because its BOB KNIGHT..if coach K did this..no one would even give it a second thought
