Yes, I think it should be banned.

Normally, I'm all for letting people do what they want as long as it doesn't get in everyone else's way. But there is no way smokers can keep smoke to themselves. Even if they only smoke at home, the smell gets on their clothes and other people have to smell it.

It's even worse for people like me, who are allergic to cigarette smoke and have asthma. Today I had to wait 40 minutes for a bus and had the stand the whole time because there was a guy sitting on the bench smoking. If I had sat down, I would have been downwind of it, which may have proved fatal.

Furthermore, there's absolutely no health benefits from it. At all. It's a useless and hazardous activity that only brings ruin.

No, it is a personal choice. We do still live IN a free country. If we keep taking away freedoms we are gonna be in a lot of trouble.
It is like the frog and the boiling pot of water.
If you just try to throw the frog in a boiling pot of water. It will jump out. But if you put it in and bring the water to a boil. Before it senses whats going on. He is dead. The way things are going this country is gonna be a cooked frog.

I think it is a right. It shouldn't be banned, but regulated. If a restaurant says you can smoke there, it has to have a nonsmoking section, also. I'm from NV and we have just passed a bill that says you can't smoke anywhere food is served. I think that is ridiculous, seeing as we have legalized prostitution.

No. I think that smoking in a business is up the people who own the business and property, not some biased committee.

Yes. Smoking kills. I have a smoking-related disease. I wish I had never started smoking. Friends of mine have died because of smoking.
