If there was a car in front of you and this car was about to go over railroad tracks but the car suddenly dies halway across the tracks. Your front end is on the other part of the tracks behind the stalled car. Lets suppose a train is coming. Would you hit your gas and push the car in front of you off of the tracks and get yourself off also in time. Or do you simply get out of your vehicle and run? You could possibly get a ticket for hitting the person in front of you and they possibly could sue you for alot of money. What would you do?

Intresting question. As I was reading I thought that I would just hit the gas but then you brought up the point of sueing and tickets. I don't know I guess knowing that I might get out... well maybe I would just reverse.

You just said the other car was stalled. Why couldn't the other person GET OUT AND RUN like all get out???? I would probably jerk my car in reverse and run forward on foot to see if the person needed help getting out of the vehicle. I mean, come on. What's a flattened car next to a life? And if it were some hare brained suicide scheme and they told me to leave them alone...you bet your sweet bum I'm outta there!

Try to get the car off the tracks. If that's not going to happen I'd get the person and myself and my car to safety.
