You should phone and find out what your Local Best Buy is doing.
Some locations will be opening at midnight, the rest will be opening an hour earlier @ 9 AM. Good luck! ;)

LISTEN, PEOPLE!!! The Wii is not about graphics!! It's about innovation and the ability for anyone to pick up a Wiimote and start playing! Give your grandpa an Xbox controller and he will run. People are comfortable with remotes! Anyway, call your Best Buy to ask about their hours or if they are going to be open that night for Wii. Although I must warn you they are heavily promoting the PS3. The probably won't be open because even on PS3 launch date they're still opening at 8 AM!

Realistically the best bet is to call the store you're interested in to see if they're going to have special hours. Many do not unless they're a gaming store (i.e. Gamestop is going to be open at midnight to take advantage of sales).

I played a demo for the wii and boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it sux so badly please do me a favor and stick with a ps3 the graphics stink horribly on the wii and the motion sensor stink, oh yeah and no its not going to
