I just recently came to the United States & am seeking assistance in how to call Cuba. My question is what’s the best way to call my family in Cuba? I heard of calling cards & all but I am not sure which one is the best for me. I bought one but it drained my balance very quickly. I live in Austin Texas currently. If anyone out there is available to guide me to a possible solution & it is not a costly expense could you please help me to find a good card to buy? Thanks for your time!

My husband is from Cuba and he calls from home, we use AT & T long distance International plan, we pay $5 a month and the cost is 92 cents per minute after that, most calling cards are over a dollar per minute and do drain rather quickly. You can call your local phone company and ask about long distance carriers in your area, most have calling plans to Cuba.

The best one right now from my experience is voipfibre. I have used voipdiscount, actionvoip, skype, but nothing provides per second billing and cheapest rates to india. Call for 30 secs and pay for only 30 secs. frikkn amazing. Go with this one

The best way is to buy a calling card or use dialaround.

1) Dialaround - see http://www.dialaroundworld.com/ for rates

2) Calling cards - I recommend Nobelcom http://www.nvcards.com/ and SpeedyPin http://www.ampolbiz.com/SpeedyPin.htm
