You need to reinstall the drivers for it - look for the cd that came with it when you bought it.

make sure that the software as been fully removed.
switch off your printer. put your Epson cd in the drive and select install. Wghen you have installed the driver for it switch on your printer windows will find the new hardware and will continue installation

Youve got to have that CD to install your printer onto your computer,I have an Epson but not the same as your's,have a good look round.but someone said to go to.

You can download the drivers for your printer from the following site: http://esupport.epson-europe.com/SupportHome.aspx?lng=en-GB
As has already been suggested, unplug your printer and reboot your computer. When Windows has finished loading, reinsert your printer to one of your USB ports, and Windows will detect new hardware. It will then give you the option of installing drivers for it.

If you are running windows XP just plug in the printer and it will auto install the drivers.

take out the usb cable from computer, and restart the computer, once its started put the cable back in and it should say (new hardware found) then reinstall the software automatically.
