Credibility is whether it can be believed or not, many writers of TV serials know that if they create a storyline that is relatively fictional but possible people will relate to it and therefore become attached to the characters and continue to watch. People can tell the difference between real, fictional and fantasy and watch TV according to what they feel they would most enjoy. There has been a prolific amount of reality TV much of which, in my opinion, should be edited onto the cutting room floor. However I respect the right of those who chose to watch it; and no I am not saying that is for all reality TV shows because some reality shows are good. In essence I prefer a good realist drama with a happy ending, something that is credible and where I can relate to the characters feelings and the storyline.
