I'm not asking why are you are not proud, or why you do not like America, I am asking, why are you proud to be an American?

Because being an American lets me have freedom. My parents came from a country in which they weren't free to do things they wanted to do. My mom married my dad when she was 16. Can you believe that 16 so young to get married & a minor? I don't have to worry about laws like those.

Oh...yes...American all the way and I'm and proud and free, but I'm not proud of my government (on the phone I shouldn't have to press #1 for english)!!!

I don't know about the black power. But yes I'm happy to American because I'm free!
