This happens more often then you would think.

Honestly determine what led to your firing.
Then, decide what you want to do and start looking.

It may take time, but you will find a new job.

Everything happens for a reason and you will be okay.

Actually, it's monster.com for job postings. Why do you feel so bad? What happened that you were fired? Depending upon the reason for the termination, you may be eligible for unemployment. Look outside. Where I am... it is an amazingly beautiful fall day. Get your coat and go out for a walk. Being out and about and getting some fresh air will make you feel a little better. Force yourself to go out -- maybe go to a movie -- but really, don't sit around the house moping. You won't find any happiness in a deep blue funk. (Even better than a stroll or movie would be a hard workout, run some hills or use a punching bag and sweat out all of that angst). Good luck and here is a truism: there will be more jobs in your life and I'm sure that most of them will be better than this last.

How about some more info. Honestly, do you know why you got fired? Will you not repeat the mistake? That's a good place to start. Will this keep you from getting another job? If it was really messy and would look bad in a job interview, you might try doing to volunteer work for a shelter or other charity, esp. organizing and running things. It will help you when you try to get another job and probably help you feel better, too. You may have to do that and work some part time job besides if you are tight on money. Sorry if this doesn't help, but we don't have much info, here...

Cheer up as you are not the first ever to get fired. Get out and look for a new job. You do not say why you were fired but keep in mind what caused it and try to be a better person on your next job. If they fired you for a reason that is not good enough then report them. In the mean time look at it this way. This could be a blessing in disguise and maybe there is an even better job waiting for you. Get to bed early tonight and get out tomorrow and apply for new jobs. You can do it. Quit worrying and get going.

Everyone gets laid off once in their life, so the best thing for you is to go find yourself another job. Your next job will be better then what you had before. Then go file unemployment. Make your former company pay for your unemployment (hoping it isn't your fault) & that it was unexpected. Just say to yourself I am going to find myself a better job per day. It works for me. If you are having a hard time finding a job, go register for employment agencies. Unemployment won't last forever and contract positions gives you some money better then no money. Good Luck.

first go to a job service like your local unemployment and security office try to get a job through them then go to a job service and get another through them. its gonna cost you but you will at least have a job. you could go to all the places that might hire and put in applications just keep trying and make it a full time job hunting for a job. things will work out if you work at it. i know how bad it is to loose a job but its not the end of the world.

Sorry for your loss. First you have got to stop feeling sorry for yourself. It happens to the best of us.
Start by touching up your resume and highlighting your strong points. Everything happens for a reason and this may be the beginning of a better life.
You have got to stay positive, don't let this get the best of you. Good luck and remember, prayer changes things.

It's gonna be okay. Take into consideration why you got fired, then if it was something that you did wrong promise yourself you're not gonna do it again. Just think of this as an oppurtunity to explore your other options. Don't think about it, put it in the past, and go find yourself another job. goodluck.
