Yes. Cat people are thought to be old, antisocial hermits.

Dog people are thought to be the overzealous people who always seem to be shouting "WHATTAGOODDOGGY!!"

Yes, I think there is.

Cat people are seen as being intellectual, quiet, shy and introverted. Maybe even a bit snooty and untouchable.

Dog people are seen as being athletic, gregarious and extroverted. They are also seen as being friendly and easy to talk to.

most people feel cat owners are very eccentric whereas dog owners are a lot less eccentric in their pet to human behaviors.
