Try Jamorama.com for a session of six taster lessons. It's worth checking some of the guitar tab sites such as chordie too. These sometimes review guitar lessons on line.

The Jamorama course was good and was backed up with video so you can see what you are meant to be doing.

Hope this helps

listen just search for the diff. chords rest once your fingers are set on the guitar all u gotta do is strum it for a month or two, as in practice it for a while, then youre on it. No need for lessons.

If you search online & find you want more, I'd suggest an instructional dvd if you still don't want formal lessons.
