They either are trying to interact with their fellow brothers and sisters, as we are all one, and trying to make a new friend because they don't have any or, they are really crappy at picking stuff out so they want your opinion on what you get you family and friends so when you leave, they all like, " Oh, man thats a really cool gift idea man! I should get that for all my little stuffed animals and we can have a silent gathering and I can talk to myself all Christmas night...and day." but thats just me man. You should ask the next person whats their purpose for asking such a question in such state of ignorance to the situation.

Most likely no, but it doesn't mean you can't give a thought in sharing what people buy gifts for each other. You don't really have to answer them, just move on to another category.
Gift giving around the holidays are a real pain and some have no idea , thats why they ask..

I think a lot of questions on here are from people that don't know what to ask or they're bored so they ask "stupid" stuff. Or things that we couldn't possible have an answer for.
I have a problem with...
Does he/she like me
I love him how do I met him
She's my friend but I like her boyfriend
He cheated on me but I still love him
What do some people use for brains....that's my "thing". LOL

the bottom line is, some pple feel better talking with strangers than talking with family members. u might have a problem and u need help so badly but u don't want anyone in ur family know about it. also, sometimes strangers might help u better than ur family member. they might understand u better, hope i helped.

I think is because all human beings have the same passions and the same questions and it is better to talk with someone who is not going to judge you

because they have so many problems and have no one to talk and get advices from...so they talk here,...they are asking for oppinions...
