Most of the flavors of Unix rely heavily on text commands - although this is becoming less and less as time goes by.

Several of the operating systems used in OEM products (phones, cars, etc) rely completely on text commands.

Non GUI OS's were round far longer than GUI structures were. in case you look on the grand scheme of issues, computer kind instruments are the purely pcs with GUI. virtually all of the different pcs use a keyboard, tapes, even nonetheless some punch card machines accessible.

Very rarely used unless you are in MS-DOS mode because of ur pc error causing ur pc to not start. (IN WINDOWS LIKE 95, 98, ME)
