How does the Zune player charge?

Before i get one, i want to know how i can charge it without buying anything else but the Zune at the store with all the accessories it comes with. Do you charge it through the sync cable or what? Or do you HAVE to buy a dock for it? Thanks!

It charges through a sync cable.
Zune dock = I'm pretty sure it's not required. It IS useful though.
This thing totally rocks, I am SO getting this over an iPod.
