Come to Montreal any Friday or Saturday and go down Crescent Street on a pub crawl. They bus apes in from the upper States, where people can't drink until 21 -- here the limit is 18. You'll see tons of apes!

When you go to any bar you can see plenty of apes drink beer....been there, done that.

I've seen chimps smoke, so they should be able to drink beer. I wouldn't want to be around a drunk chimp, though. Humans get wild when they drink, so chimps probably will too.
