Pie, mathematically, is tasty.
Pi, mathematically, is 3.14159265359
At least, that's all my calculator will go up to.
My computer calculator goes up to:
3.1415926535897932384626433832795
I will now memorise this new digit.

Technically, pi (not pie, you eat that) is not a rational number so it's never going to be exact. A good approximation in fractions is 22/7. Generally 3.14 or 3.14159 are good enough approximations for use in simpler applications.

It's the relationship of the diameter of a circle to it's circumference. It is actually an infinite number, normally given to 3 or 4 decimal places.

Pi (π) is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter.
C = 2πr
d = 2r
C/d = 2πr/2r = π
The value of π is:
3.14159 26535 89793 23846 26433 83279 50288 41971 69399 37510

Pie comes in different flavors like apple, peach, pecan, blueberry and so on.
Pi, on the other hand, is approximately 3.14. 22/7 is also used as an approximation. Pi is the ratio between a circle's circumference and its diameter. You cannot express pi exactly.

Pi is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. Pi is always the same number, no matter which circle you use to compute it.
