Its been about 5 weeks since my b/f and I have done anything. I had my period on Oct. 26 - 29, but usually mine last longer. All the preg. tests have been negative. Should they be accurate by now?

5 weeks should be plenty of time. However, you'll wait forever to get a 100% accurate reading, even the boxes say 99% accurate. If you were pregnant, you would most likely have some of the symptoms by now. If you think you're pregnant and the tests keep showing negative, see your doctor for a blood test. I hope this helps.

i would say they are accurate now. They are 98% accurate the day you expect a period THERE IS NO HOME TEST that is 100%. You would have to wait for technology to get better in the years to come to ever expect a 100% accurate home pregnancy test. You can get a blood test at your doctors if you feel you are pregnant "best way to know with 100% accuracy. I would say you are NOT pregnant.

At home tests always have a possiblity of being wrong. When in doubt, go to the Doctor and ask for a blood test to be done - the chances of getting a false negative via blood test is much lower than an at home test.

The test is accurate. You are not pregnant, which is why all the tests have been negative. When you are pregnant, you won't have a period.

When your period is three to five days late, that's when it will be time to take a pregnancy test.

Just because you had a shorter period than normal doesn't mean you are pregnant, bu if you really think you are pregnant I would make an appointment with you doctor and have a blood test done-they are more accurate.

Usually the day after your missed period. If you try now, and they are still negative, then you are not pregnant
