why are people complaining? they had a chance to do good in school, go to college and get a job they want. thats what college is for right? whats the point of going to college if youre still going to be stuck with a job you dont like? i want to be a vet assistant, and i dont even need college for it. a lot of people tell me to go to college anyway, but whats the point? i dont even need college to do what i want. i dont want to go to college, get myself in debt and get stuck with a job i dont want. what do you think i should do?
ps. dont tell me to go to college to become a vet, i dont want to be a vet, not right now anyway. it takes way too much money and schooling to become one and i dont want to do surgeries either.

you can get a good job without going to college. like i said, i wanted to be a vet assistant for the longest time and i just found out that you dont even need college to be one. i just dont want to go to college and it being a waste of money and time. my dad went to a community college and makes 40 an hour.

Kristin,

A lot of people are stuck in dead end jobs, due to financial or family obligations.

A lot of people are stuck in professional jobs that were not what they expected, despite getting educated.

Some people just like to ***** and moan, even if they have an ideal job.

Not everyone can say they love their jobs. Luckily, I can (though I am playing hooky today).

A lot of people have unreasonable expectations for what they think they'll find in a job. Most want something easy, no responsibility, high pay, no taxes, and upward mobility for as little work as possible.

They think that going to college will guarantee a position like that, and the more degrees, the better. But this isn't necessarily the case, as most high schools and colleges only train people to be good employees and look for "good jobs." They certainly don't teach students how to look for happiness in other ways and incorporate their interests into a job that will gratify them.

Without a college education, a high school diploma cannot get you any where other than fast food jobs. The reason people complain about their jobs is because its something that doesnt make them happy. Going after a college degree for one of your interests will most definitely be worth it in the end, no matter the bills.

they complain because many jobs don't pay enough,
most people that make good money are happy.
right now you don't wanna be a vet, but later when you get married, or have kids or want to retire you'll need a lot of money and you would regret not having many choices. If you don't wanna study then work hard and save so you can have your own business. that's the way to go. don't be someone's slave
