I have a tear in the posterior horn of the medial meniscus extending to the inferior articular surface. What treatments are available?

better talk to a good surgeon. I am a GP and the only thing that comes to my mind is replacement surgery- SFAIK articular surfaces don't heal well and that is a weight bearing joint. Might be able to manage with a brace- but again, that is not my speciality.

medial meniscal tear repair of the right knee. Following surgery the patient was treated with physical therapy and participated in a work hardening program.
