Dave Matthew's Band always makes me feel calm for some reason... my eyes just want to close and I just want to sleep.... oh, and Lifehouse does that to me too! I'm listening to them right now... :-)

Generally, "new age" music makes helps me to feel sleepy or calm. Steven Halpern is an artist that I enjoy listening to in the New Age category. You might want to listen to some samples of his album "Chakra Suite". Don't let the name fool you. The music is almost hypnotic if you have it on the right volume. Steven's website is www.innerpeacemusic.com. Also, Jeffrey Thompson has many cd's that are scientifically engineered to put you into different states of being, like relaxation or sleep. You might describe his music as "ambient". I think his website is jeffthompson.com I also like Robert Coxon's music. It is very peaceful. He does both instrumental and synthesizer pieces.
