Determining your Bra/Band size
(ribcage circumference measurement)
1. Measure around the chest directly under the breast at a constant height with the cloth measuring tape. Add 5 inches to that measurement. This dimension is your bra/band size (If the bra size works out to an ODD number go up one inch to the next EVEN number.) This should equal the circumference around the chest, directly above the breasts/under the arms.
2. Now measure around the chest at the height of the fullest part of the breast. The measuring tape should be held horizontal, flat on your back, and your arms should be down. Make a note of that measurement (only used for comparison) and compare it to the Bra Size from step 1.
Determining your Cup size
(projection of breasts from chest wall)
3. To determine the proper Cup Size, find the difference between step 2 and step 1 (step 2 - step 1.) Use the chart on the website to determine your Cup Size.

There is no cartain bra size you are... yoru best bet is to go somewhere that fits bras, such as victorias secret, and if you find a bra you like there stick with that store and that size. But if you get fit for a bra at VS they tend to run small, so you might be a D cup there, but a C cup at a department store, so it all depends on where yopur buying your bras from. Hope this helps!!

Measure your rib cage add 5inches (r+5)
Measure the fullest part of your breast in a well fitting bra (b)
Subtract the largest part of your breast by the rib cage measurement. This will be your cup size (c)
c=b-(r+5)
A cup = 1inch diff
B cup = 2inch diff
C cup = 3inch diff
and so on
To figure your rig cage size you take (r+5) if its not an even number you round it up 33 becomes 34, 35 becomes 36...

For the band size, measure under your breasts and add 5.
For the cup size, measure around your breasts w/bra on and subtract from above total.
0=AA cup
1=A
2=B
3=C
4=D
......and so on......
I saw this on the Tyra Banks Show a couple of years ago.
Hope it helps!

I got a free measurement at Victoria's Secret and the bras have tags that have the size...if you didn't rip them off.

measure your ribcage- that's the size (like 32 or something). then measure the fullest part of chest- each inch over your ribcage size is a cup size. 1 inch = a cup, 2 inches= B cup

measure around your chest below the breasts - record the number because it's the strap wrap-around size. measure across your bust to get a number and look on a chart to get the cup size (see site go to cup measurement paragraph).
