I am almost 10 weeks, and the morning sickness (24/7) is getting the best of me. I was just wondering if it just suddenly goes away, or if it comes and goes and then goes away? I am just looking for what other women went through. And when your morning sickness went away, if it did. And I would like to say how sorry i feel for every woman who has went through pregnancy! wow you are all very strong!

I had morning sickness from about 5wks - 13/14wks ... except it wasn't just mornings... it was also afternoons and nights!

In my 13th/14wk i woke up one morning and wasn't feeling nauseous... then it happened the next day and the next day... praise the lord!! LOL. I am 18wks today and still feel naseous every now and again - especially when i smell foods that REALLY affected me in the first trimester... but i think thats psychological... because it made me so violently ill i cannot fathom ever going back to certain foods.

I hope it gets better - you have my sympathies too! I know how awful it makes one feel.... look for the light at the end of the tunnel!

Congrats and good luck :)

First pregnancy is the most wonderful thing a women can go through. Yeah morning sickness sucks but for most women it does go away. Some women do get it through the whole 9 months but not all. I had it bad for about 2 months withmy first baby. It started when i was about 1 weeks along and lasted 2 months. One morning I woke up and I was hungry, I kept it down. I was so happy. But wih my 2nd child i had it through the whole pregnancy off and on. So it does go away for awhile but sometimes wil come back. I m sure you will soon be over it though. Just remember to make sure to keep tring to eat. small meals and snacks ( lots a day) You need at least 500 more calories a day kept down then you did before you were pregnant. So you will get through it just remember no matter how you feel your baby needs you to stay strong and keep trying to eat for him/her. Good luck. It does get better.

With both of my boys I had morning sickness like crazy. The first 3 months was really bad with my first, then after the 4 & 5 month it slowly started fading off. With my daughter who was the second child I didnt have morning sickness at all. Then came my youngest boy and it was not as bad as my first son but the first 3 months I had it everyday and then about the end of my 3rd month into the 4th it stopped. Everyone is different and every pregnancy is different as you can see I had 3 and they were all different. Good Luck and Congratulations!

I knew mine was gone with my twins when I gave birth. I threw up 3-10 times a day every day from week 4 to 31 when they were born, in and out of hospital, fluids 2 times a week via iv. It was a mess.

With my son I had light morning sickness and mine just went away one day. I only had it for about 4 weeks

You should ask your doctor for some Zofran it really cuts down how much you get sick

I had morning sickness from 6-16 weeks and toward the end I would go a week and no get sick and the next week throw up 4 times. After a few weeks of not being nauseous or getting sick I realized it was over. I am now 23 weeks and haven't been sick since then-good luck!

You are not the only one. I have it too 24/7. Its a horrible thing. I got it at 6 weeks, and thought it was going away at 19 weeks, but then I got it back again a week later. Im now 21 weeks, and I just cant hardly take anymore of this and wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy. This is my 4th baby (a girl) I have 3 boys and got sick with them too, but not this sick. I hope you start to feel better soon! Ask your doctor for zofran. It isnt a miracle, butit slightly helps.

Well, all I can say is that I went through it for 15 weeks with each of my kids (x2). With my son, I wasn't feeling well in the morning and then at dinner time I was like, "I want some steak!" And that is what I ate... just like that! My body was so deprived and starving that I just knew what I wanted.

Just don't over do it when you finally get the feeling that you can eat. Just eat a small portion.

Best of luck to you in your pregnancy.

HaHa, the big question. I had sickness with both of my boys. The 1st I only had morning sickness, my doctor told me it should go away by my 3rd month but it didnt then he told me it should go away by my 6th month. Didnt happen. I had morning sickness until I had my son. The 2nd son I have sickness all day long, anything and everything and that lasted all 40 weeks. Good luck

I only had morning sickness for about 2 weeks. And, it wasn't just the morning, but around the clock. It suddenly stopped because I quit throwing up and feeling nauseous. I hope you feel better soon. Stock up on those crackers.
