Year after year, I spend the holidays with family .Year after year, theres an argument b/c my family memebers.Im tire of the same old predictable holiday plans.What are some enjoyable things or places my fiance and I can do for christmas and New years that doesnt require spending too much? Am I wrong for not wanting to be with family??

Do some giving. Maybe you know somone who just lost a close family member -- you could make them a sympathy gift. You could also volunteer. There are many needs out there, and as soon as you start using your heart, your head will get right out of that 'boredom' mode! Jesus said, "freely as you have recieved, freely give!" It's the reason for the season! If you have time on your hands, you're fortunate! Use that time to give. :)

I also recommend reading through the book of John in the Bible to gain a better understanding of Christmas. I'm sure you've got some bestsellers on your Christmas wishlist; why not read this one?

I know that we have things like tree lightings, light displays that are either free or really cheap. You could also find a skating rink and go ice skating. Try somthing like cooking dinner together, you could each find a neat recipe that you want to try. Hope this helps, Happy Holidays.
