The most important thing is practice. No matter how much you think you understand the concept, it is always best to do some example problems, just to drive those concepts home. Also, if you have doubt on some concepts during the test, you could probably figure it out by recalling those example problems that you did. There's really nothing to lose if you do those example problems, but if you don't, it can be somewhat of a gamble, since you didn't give yourself the chance of applying your knowledge before hand.
o yea, don't forget to bring a watch and extra batteries for your calculator just in case!

I tutored in this subject for years. Going to give you the fast method of test taking.
Read though each problem BEFORE you start - your brain can work on many problems at the same time and the next time you look at the problem you may just have the answer right then and there.
When you read the problem, take a minute to think then mark alongside the question (if you can)
E=easy - you know the answer and can do it in less than a minute
M=Medium - You know how to do it but you need time for calculations (2 minute problem)
H=Hard - either you know it will ake longer than 2 minutes to solve OR you don't know it off the top of your head.
Go back and solve ALL questions you marked E for easy.
Go back and solve ALL M
Go back and solve only H questions you know but need time to calc.
Go back and try to answer all H's left. SAT punishes a guess. ACT's do not. So in the end, if you do not get punished for a guess. Close your eyes and guess.
Be calm. If you studied your material this is THE BEST emthod for getting your test on time and with as many right answers as you can give.
Good luck

You have the ability to create programs in your calculator. It's best to store the formulas you have a hard time with on there. Other than that, work lots of math problems with a friend in the class, or ask the teacher for some problems with answers on a seperate page.
