Well, shops are still closed on Sundays where I live, so I'll give you a list of what I do on Sundays
1. Sleep
2. Watch TV until my brain rots
3. Make pancakes
4. Play on the computer
5. Go for a walk
6. Stand outside of Wal Mart and longingly look in
7. Head to Chic-fil-A and swear as I realize they aren't open Sundays either
8. Go to the mall but, once again, everything's closed.
9. Call my mom and complain how this backward state needs to get with it.
10. Decide to get a hair cut...oops! Beauty shops are closed too!
11. Finally give up and go back to bed until Monday

Got out bed late around midday, had Sunday lunch with family, visited relatives & friends afterwards,or went for drives to the coast or countryside. Sunday papers were delivered took time reading them, then spent the evening in front of the TV or maybe went to see a film at the local cinema. After all this you got ready for Monday and the week ahead.

I'm old enough to remember, there was one shop in a 20 mile radius of where we lived that was open on Sunday, cars would park up to a mile away from this shop and people queued for what seemed like hours for a shop assistant to serve you, woe betide the person who didn't have the right change.

People used to go to Church, or stay at home and do the Gardening, or did jobs that we never have time to do during the week and now no longer have the time to do as we are all out shopping! go visit families, have Sunday Roasts, ahhhhhh, now those were the days, what a shame we don't live like that any more

First of all my Mum made sure we got everything we needed for Sunday Dinner & Tea on Saturday.
On Sunday We all helped get Sunday dinner ready, after dinner Mum & Dad relaxed in front of the TV & all us kids would go to the park to play Football or other games until it was Tea time, after Tea it was a Family night watching TV ( after we had done our homework of course)

Watched really rubbish TV (all 3 channels of it), visited relatives, watched the rain drip down the window and count the seconds until Sunday tea-time.
At least it made the weekend seem longer and it somehow made Monday morning seem almost like blessed relief ;-)

For me, now, shops don't open on a Sunday.
That is I ignore the fact that they do and get on with my life doing the stuff the other folks have suggested.
