When you workout you do sets. Sets are a group of reps. Say you are doing sit ups. You want to do 3 sets of ten reps. so you do 10 sit ups (ten reps). That is one set. I hope this answers your question.

For example if you were doing 2 sets of 15 repetitions. You would do 15 take a small break and do 15 more.
