Both are almost same , in some area vodafone gor better coverage and in some areas 3.
3 got better service in vedio calling and some cheap cross network minutes packages.

I don't know what do you mean by "better" but one thing is truth, that 3 is much cheaper than Vodaphone. When I was with Vodaphone, my monthly bill was about £70-£80, now with 3 about £25-£30 and lot more free mins and sms. If you don't know yet this is the cheapest UK mobile network.

I guess it depends where you live, but i had to finish using 3 cos the network coverage was abysmal. Whats the point in having a phone if you can't get a signal?!

You can check this link:

I think Vodafone is brand and also they have covered most of the area in uk.
3 is new player also there customer related problems are on a rise.
Vodafone is making considerable changes in 3g services.
You can opt for vodafone.

Not much different really, both are good for deals and service, and I haven't had any problems with either, only thing is with 3 you only have video mobiles and contracts, if you don't know anyone else with a video mobile (or you already know what they look like) is it worth paying for it?
