I tried at least 4 times to install I E 7 and still
the same problem. Foxfire and mozilla
didn't work either, so thanks for the help,
I'll just leave it the way it is.

Better you restore your computer to a date when it was working with out the Explorer 7 and fix the problem . I hope you have windows XP. Otherwise try with another anti virus software. I can give a few links that offer free virus and spyware removers...! AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at

I would advise you to start using Mozzila Firefox. I know you might not want to change your web browser but it is so much better! Not only is it free but there is a large community who continually update it to make sure it always works the way you want to. Internet Explorer is known to be difficult, that is why I would advise you to change!

reinstalling IE7 would be your best choice, also modifying your firewall settings so it doesn't throw you another curveball again. Firefox is a decent alternative to IE, but only if your desperate to get away from IE7.

try installing ie7 again and if the same happens maybe try firefox 2.0 (www.mozilla.org) as i find this a better browser and also havent had any problems with it yet and i have used it for over a year.
