sometimes no amount of money is worth the stress a job can cause.think of it like this then ask yourself the question again.
you cant buy back your health.
you cant buy back time.
you cant buy back your loved ones.
do you see what i'm getting at?theres no point working yourself to death.cause just remember your a long time dead and you dont get another chance?

You should not have included the dollar amounts in your question because that is confusing people. 38k sounds like big bucks to most people, but in California, you can't buy your own house with that income. Anyway, I enjoyed the low paying job much more than the high paying career. So I started my own businesses and made a ton of money but worked my back side off.

I have ALWAYS said that I would take a paycut for a job that I have FUN doing, that I LOVE working at, rather than a stiff, shirt and tie, white collar job. I have NOTHING against people who sit behind a desk for a living, Lord knows the world needs people who are willing to do that. Personally I have to feel like I have gotten up in the morning, went to work and actually WORKED! I want to feel physically tired from my job, I want to move around, I want to use energy. When I do that I feel like I have accomplished something.
For those of you that work behind a desk, I admire you. I couldnt do it!
Bottom line, YES!! I would take a less paying job that I LOVE doing rather than a pay raise and hate life because I hate work!

I'd rather have low-pay doing a job I love. Unfortunately I'm stuck doing a crap job for more money. Now I'm trapped due to my standard of living and dependants counting on me.

I gave up 6 fiqures in California to go country in rural Arkansas. Cleaner air, lots better water, lower population density and Monday was the start of deer season (modern gun)

well, i would rather have the low paying one, because a job is something you spend most of your day doing, so i wouldn't waist it on something that i don't like doing.
however, money seems to be the answer to everything these days...

I'd say a low-paying job that you love because you'll be spending your life working there so you might as well enjoy it at least!!
