I have meant numerous people from France. Some are passionate, nice, and open minded, but I have also met people from France that are arrogant, close minded, and impossible to work with. There are stubborn and arrogant people from all nations, but France owns this stereotype.

I don't know many French people; I have some French ancestry, but that was quite a few generations back. I presume French people are pretty much like anybody else - some nice, some not-so-nice - just people.

I recently had a discussion about what people thought about the French and if they differed from Americans that much.

I got that the French were generally more polite, helpful, more mature, and more open and friendly then Americans. Most people also agreed that they were quick to anger and could be quite rude sometimes.

French people are very talented when it comes to style and culture. The French helped America gain independence from Britain and I am grateful for their help.

I don't know any French people. I have nothing against them personally. I am intrigued by other cultures, and hey they helped us out during some wars and have us one of our national monuments (Statue of Liberty).

I love the accent but then again I love just about any accent. I took two years of French in high school but I wouldn't even try to speak it cuz I would just mess it up.

I sleep with a frenchman everynight, he is human like everyone else, He cooks good except escargot, and I told him never to fix the blood sausage again... He is cute when he eats his hamburger, and we love each others difference, He likes me for being able to walk into a room and absorb the atmosphere and I like his ability to eat properly with a fork and knife.. (Oh yeah, I do love brie and most the cheeses (I have come to except his way of thinking it is his given right to have an opinion on everything and everyone....still love him.... Gay american)

PS
I never judge the book by a cover and read the story inside. I do respect his thoughts when he rambles about France's high unemployment rates, not telecasting the news when something bad happens in France. (Yet, I reserve my opinon at this point since it is his mother country, but that does not mean he reserves his opinon on any other nation, at the end of the day, we do quite well, Opposites attract and you can not pull us apart)

Man, the French are awesome.
I love your people, love your food, love your language, and I love your country. People who hate the French probably haven't ever even been to France.
