And, I had to laugh at the range of answers you have
gotten so far, ranging from yes to Boo, and no with a
no proof add-on.
Ghosts are seen by the eye and recognized by the mind.
There are no set limits on what the mind can perceive
whether awake, asleep, or in between. The reality of what
is perceived is judged by the viewer based upon their
experience, education, and culture. So, what one perceives
as real, may to another be only a simple matter of shadows
or rustling leaves on a quiet evening. To the former, who
recognized the disturbance as something "not flesh and blood", the observation was quite actual, and to that person, ghosts are
most definitely real.
Now, can you buy a box of them at Wal-Mart? I don't think so.
Do certain houses really creak and groan in the night? You
better believe it. Is that creaking and groaning caused by
some unsettled soul who still has an axe to grind, or some
unfinished business to attend to? Well, here you have to
yield to the people living in that house and actually experience
the weird sounds and disturbances. I think that they think that
ghosts are real. And, since they live there, that is good enough for me.

yes, ghosts are real, and are very common. what is not common is a ghost coming into contact with the living.

There is little substantiative evidence, either way . Until they can prove that Ghosts are not real, it would be safe to assume they do.

Not in the scence you perseave them as no there are good and bad angles roming this earth and they can make there presonce known to any one they choose and take the form of people but they are not actuel dead people they look simularly to them to fool people.

They claim that in order to contact them directly using technology, we just have to "cross the wall of the viel" with current technology and we can talk to them on the phone and have video conferences too.
