It is better to have an algebra background before taking geometry. It is not absolutely necessary, but certainly better.

Well, I'm a math teacher, and you need to have basic algebra skills for geometry class. If you are in 8th grade now, you should take pre-alg now (or in 9th grade), then an algebra class, then geometry.

But each state is a little (or a lot) different. So you will need to talk to your high school counselor over the summer, or even before this school year is over. Usually Freshman are registered before the school is out...or in the summer.

between the perfect belongings you may do is search for You Tube. it may look a touch unusual, yet there fairly are human beings obtainable who positioned video clips on the information superhighway about a thanks to do math. once you're ever in want of help, attempt that or only search for with google. There are multiple pages obtainable which will clarify all of it. Geometry is all about memorization, so i wager only putting some further time aside will be effective. Having a math wizard for a pal does not be a draw back... best of tremendous fortune! Jade.

i am in honors geometry and I'm a freshman .... if you don't understand the algebra that you are doing now then go in to pre-algebra but if you can understand it just fine and you want a challenge go it to geometry
