Hi Guys!

I had an interview last Thursday that went REALLY well with a great company. It's a family owned business and the owner's daughter interviewed me. She said that I was already in the "yes" pile for a 2nd interview even before I left, and called her dad (the owner) out of his office and said "Dad, this is Samantha and I want you to put a face with the name, because I think she is really great for this position". I got a call today to come in this Thursday for the 2nd interview. They even called my references. I've never had a second interview in my previous jobs so I'm not sure what to expect. If you all could give me some insight on what I need to prepare for or how it will go, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!! :)

Press,

Congrats on the new job!

I have had many second interviews. I'm an Engineer.

For me, the first interview is administrative. They ask the details about your work history.

The second interview is technical. They want to make sure you can do the job.

If they checked references already it sounds like they are going to offer you the job. Go in looking good and be friendly.
