Tampax expands like a rectangle and extends in length after use
Playtex expands like a flower and extends in width after use
i found that out by putting both of them in the toilet to see how they absorbed the water...it was kind of funny but interesting, and it helped me pick the right one according to my body's shape for better comfort and leakage protection
but i prefer Playtex...and Always pads even though tampoons are way better!

The Cat prefers Tampax too. they have the paper wrappers that he can actual shred off, the cardboard applicator he can chew up and a valuable shreddable cotton pon that he can carry into the front room even as his people have new travellers over. He contains it in, in his mouth, all shredded to products (new ones purely of route) and gently jumps up on the arm of the chair, faucets them on the shoulder and places shredded tampon into travellers lap and says "bbbrrrrow?" and looks up at them with the biggest greenest maximum beautiful eyes you have ever considered on a bengal cat. Flies do not make it lengthy in our residing house, because of the Cat. apparently, not purely are they solid to chase and kill, yet make a delectable manage to boot.

I only wear tampons when I am swimming, so I don't remember what kind I use. Pads and pantiliners: Kotex and Carefree and sometimes Stayfree.
