I know that when your head gets cut all the way off you immediately die (or do you?), but when it hits your neck before it goes all the way through, would it hurt? Would you realize it before you died? Could you feel it?

Yes. If you are conscience when the blade goes through (If it is quickly) all the nerve endings that control the body below the neck are severed, however, all the facial muscles and everything controlled above the neck is still in-tacked. The brain takes approximately 6 minutes to die, though you will be unconscience before then, but not immediately.

It has been recorded that facial expressions which resemble suffering have been observed after beheading, even eyes looking around helplessly, lips moving, etc. Some say it is reflex. . .I really doubt it. . . and I would hate to check it out to see who is right or wrong.

The quickest way to kill is a severe blow to the head to pretty much knock you out by disrupting the brains functioning, If you ever experienced a blow to the head, with enough force to place you under, (I have) it is pretty much pain free and if you never wake up. . you will never know you died or were dying..

i do not understand how a lot soreness you would experience, yet I have heard that severed heads (those reduce off in executions) proceed to be wakeful for a second or 2 till the great looses a large adequate quantity of blood. so in case you positioned your self to allow your head to roll down hill faraway from the song, lack of life would take a touch longer. The mind itself has no soreness centers, yet you neck does. probable you'd be in too a lot marvel to experience some thing. Yikes! What an poor project to imagine about. it would also be extraordinarily unfair to the prepare operators who've to stay with the guilt of your lack of life and feeling that they might have performed some thing to ward off it. i wish this information is only for some thing you're writing.

wow second question ive answered about this this week.

supposedly the person can remain concious 4 up to 30 seconds, like just thinking like (omg i dont have a body) but probably wouldnt really feel pain becasue it cuts off your spine from delivering those kinds of messages and you wouldnt b able to move or anything for the same reasons
