If you want to be warm then I'd suggest the canary islands, it's still really nice and warm there in our winter months. I used to live in Lanzarote and Christmas there is lovely, the weathers great and the people love Christmas over there, it's a great atmosphere.

I've added a link below, if you decided to go you could check the site, nearer to the time, to see what they have planned for Christmas.

Barcelona is nice at any time of year. At Christmas, it won't be blazing hot, but there should still be a good bit of sunshine, and it should still be pretty mild. Warm enough to sit out on the terrace of a street cafe and watch the world go by.

It is lively at all times, so this would be a great place to spend Xmas, if that is what you are interested in. Las Ramblas, Port Vell, Poble Espanyol and El Born are all very lively at night. Central Barca is very busy every night of the week.

The Barri Gotic at the bottom of las Ramblas is floodlit at night, and very historic. It's atmospheric streets are especially romantic at night, perfect for late night strolls with your loved one.

The city also has lovely beaches, which I always think are a nice place to spend Christmas. It also boasts one of the world's finest churches in la Sagrada Famillia which is a great place to visit on a Sunday morning, especially if there are festive recital services going on.

The Exiemple, and the Barri Gotic are excellent for shopping. Barceloneta is famous for its lovely seafood (would make a change from turkey and tinsel). You might also want to try the walled city of Girona, the seaside party townof Sitges, or the heights of Tibidabo with their splendid views, to give your celebrations a memorable setting.

Come here and you will have a fun and enjoyable Christmas to remember.

Loutro' - Crete (Greece)
In the south of Crete. You get there by boat from Sfakia'
(there are no roads, nor cars in Loutro: it's not an island, but the mountain behind it is too steep to allow for a road to be built).
The hotel (there's only one) will be closed in winter, but many houses rent beautiful rooms with view on the sea. People go swimming in december, it's warm enough. You fly to Iraklion, reach Sfakia' by bus, and enjoy perfect relax and romantic athmosphere.

I even have lived in England and Germany in the wintry climate. England became into moist and dreary yet not lots snow. Germany had some yet not lots. the biggest concern there became into black ice once you have been making use of. We did dissimilar volksmarches in the wintry climate or perhaps in January! Very friendly. Italy could be extra valuable in case you prefer extra heat temperature. not something I experienced became into so extraordinarily chilly like the Northern states if that's what you recommend. Even here in SE Ohio, i could evaluate it to residing over there. needed coats yet not a heavy one like a parka. you'll be able to desire to do a seek on Paris temperatures in wintry climate and notice what it seems to be.

If you want it to be nice and warm, it would have to be in Spain in one of the coasts. I suggest the Costa Blanca.
The rest of Europe will be with snow.
