I've always thought Ariel the Little Mermaid was the prettiest one, and also the most interesting, character-wise. She's kind of a little burst of feminism in what was up until then a damsel-in-distress sort of genre. I also like the ugly stepsisters in Cinderella, because you have to look at things from their side- I mean, if I was an ugly chick who had huge feet and couldn't sing, I'd lock my beautiful, cheerful stepsister in a closet upstairs too if the prince stopped by...

I've always had a soft spot for Ariel. When I was kid, I wanted to be a mermaid. But I also have to give props to Kiara, who defies her father to find the one she loves. I also really like Mulan, who is a strong female character.
