Make sure you never wear your ball shoes outside or anywhere besides the court. this will cause them to get dirt and dust, that still dont always work you will get dust on them no matter what but before every game i would take a damp rag and clean the bottom of them off. it will only last for a little while but from there you will just have to lick your fingers and wipe your shoe off with your hand thats the only solution i have found to work for me.

Wipe them off with dry hands, a wet towel, or try and get one of those sticky pads. I find if I just wipe the bottom of my shoes with my hands a couple times, my shoes are fine.

You got to buy basketball shoes that stick on the bottom as soon as you buy them. Later they would get worn out though.

Bring a damp towel to practice and wipe your feet on it each time you go onto the court.

try this...before playing in a gym that has hard wood, pour coke on your soles. it would make your shoes sticky. but do not put on all the coke in a bottle.

buy some new ones with better grip, or tell them to stop waxing the floor so much.
