Do you act like you didn't see them? Do you walk away quickly and hide behind something? Give them the finger?

I just walk away ! hahaha... I know that is a bit mean, but meh, what else am I suppose to do ? I'd hate to go and talk to them even though I don't want to - that is so hypocritical !

Act like I don't see them, try to walk away quickly and hide. Sometimes shoot finger behind back(they can report it if seen). If all else fails, I then talk about my problems when they come up to me.......like I tell them I have the trots, really.

I keep walking unless they approach me- then out of politeness tell them it was great seeing them but i am in a hurry to jump off a cliff and i will catch them later...
but for real- i just try and avoid them altogether. Nothing said is always better than saying stuff that is mean. If they do come up to me I really would tell them i am in a rush and glad to see them (but i wouldnt jump off a cliff)

Oh my this happened to me a couple months back. A Gal who was spreading rumors in our little town, one about us, was in the store when me and one of my boys went shopping.
I did not want to talk to her, had nothing to say to her! She started talking and I just kept walking but then her kid started talking to me so I stopped and did talk to him (he can not help who is mother is).
Anyhoo this does not happen to me often, but with this "girl" it did......If Mr. was there she would have gotten a ear full! He doesn't put up with non sense like rumors....
