He would wait since it is 5 weeks till Christmas, but his parents don't like the idea of a 3rd game system. He is quite smart, and able to calculate prices etc, he is a great artist and can work with a paper and pencil amazingly.

Probably your parents. If begging doesn't work, and dropping christmas hints doesn't work; you might offer to do some extra chores for extra money.

If all else fails, just get him Medieval 2: Total War; it's 100x better than anything on a console.

Deliver papers or sell your old toys on Ebay. Mow lawns. You've got to take on some responsibility to make money, most 10 year olds don't understand that. Maybe you should just enjoy your childhood and let your cousin worry about where he's getting the money for what he wants. Spend your money on yourself or save it.

A ten year old? I would say begging the parents, grand parents, etc. If that dosn't work, well, work. Rake leaves, wash cars, walk dogs. Or, you could always wait for Christmas(if you celebrate it).

That game looks fun. Tell me how it is! :)

Oddly, he can sell a service on EBay.
Call it "I sketch you" -- he sets up an auction, at $2 a shot, say. The winner emails him a pic of him/herself. He makes a pencil sketch of the person, and mails it to the person.

Uhh.. get money as a present from Christmas, enough to get an XBox 360 or just some money with your money. Then you get it! I guess.. lol.

save your allowance and charge your parents for work. Ask for work around your nieghborhood. But don't expect to get the money soon. I'm 13 and got 350$ in a couple months, but mostly it was a straight a report card and working.
