I want to buy her some high quality stuff to replace her non-existent wardrobe or get her some gift cards to do it on her own.. None of the stores in the mall carry her sizes including shoes. She isn't fat but broad and powerfully built but I don't want her to have to buy men's sweaters etc...

Try ebay. They have everything in every size. If she is big and powerful, get her something reallly nice...you don't want to make her mad.
