Look, I don't think that the guy is really worrying about you.......and from the sounds of it he hasn't paid the situation any more mind.....so just forget about it cuz he probably doesn't believe your friends. If its such a problem go to him and tell him the truth but to be honest you shouldn't really worry about your reputation..it'll all blow over sooooooooooooooooooon! :)-

If you loose your rep it isn't that bad your real friends will stick with you and you will be free of these people after your senior year of High School. Also people will find a new person to pock on in a while. You could also find ways to prove their wrong and/or keep turning the guys wrong that like you for the wrong reasons.

Trust me I know how that is. First you need to tell him the truth that it's not true. Second get rid of your friends. If they would do something like that then you shouldn't be around them, since a true friend would get your back and stop the rumopr from spreading instead of being the sorce. Third if you know says something about it tell them you would never do such a thing. If someone you don't really know says something about it just ignore them.

After a while no one will really care about it. I've been there.

Well maybe you should first confront the person that they told it to. And what to say to him is that I apologize for that comment. even thoe its not true he probably think so. And the was probably offensive to him. Then confront your friends and tell them not to spread rumors nemore. That could probably help.

HUH?
Just liking someone doesn't make you bad>
Action speaks louder than words, prove yourself the "good girl".
Character is made, respect is earned. You can create it all- yourself.
