I know they're the same thing.

I'm asking why the names are different. Does location, store size, etc. determine which store gets to be Forever 21 or XXI?

Forever XXI stores are larger than classic Forever 21 shops and offer men's and women's fashions, as well as lingerie, footwear, cosmetic items, and other accessories. The chain released a line for young males called twenty one mens in 2006... hope i helped :o)

Yes, you would. The only actual difference between, Forever 21, and XXI Forever, is that XXI has the new Faith 21 plus size clothing line.

There actually is a difference: Forever 21 sells plus sizes and kids clothes, and has larger Mens' sections.

There isn't a difference, XXI is Forever 21 in Roman numerals. They are still the same company

It's the same - XXI means 21 in Roman numerals.

Even though the name is different, they mean the same thing. It doesn't relate to store size or location. XXI is an abbreviation, such as Saks vs. Saks Fifth Avenue.
