Question Details: Can someone explain to me what is going on in their heads or can someone who has done this explain to me why they've done it??? To this day, I have not heard of one valuable excuse. Yes, it is your body, yes, we as women have a right but PLEASE!! This is a life we are talking about and this LIFE also has rights, especially when it was brought into a world he/she didn't decide to be in. Any comments, people who can explain from both perceptions are welcomed.

About 1% became pregnant due to rape or incest.
None of these are good reasons for killing a living human being. In every situation, the unborn child is completely innocent and does not deserve to die. There is ANOTHER body involved in abortion other than the woman's, and that is the body of the child. At three weeks, the baby's heart is already beating. At six weeks, the baby has recordable brain waves and tiny fingers. At eight weeks, the baby can suck her thumb and has all her organs. At nine weeks, the baby can grasp an object placed in her palm. The average age of an aborted baby in America is 10 weeks.

Why did you work at an abortion clinic if you are against abortion? It must have been awful, as my sister is a nurse and she has given me some graphic details. I have not and never will have one, but as I understand it most of the procedures are done for the mother's convenience--like after the fact birth control.

You know, abortion is one thing Bush really helped with. He eliminated the most painful form of abortion (for the baby) partial birth abortion. One reason I support the republicans so strongly is their stand against abortion. It is wrong. Just like killing innocent americans in the twin towers was wrong.

When life begins is relative based on the opinion of the person you ask. For me, until it can survive outside the mother (with or without help from technology), it's nothing more than a parasite.
And the mothers life has to come first. The mothers life is already established. A fetus has only the potential for life.

By the time a woman gets to the abortion clinic, she has NO good choices left. And unless you've been in those shoes, you have no right to judge.
