Not technically a Christmas movie but they have some Christmas scenery but I love Little Women (the most recent re-make)
There are others also.

My two favorite Christmas films were actually directed by the same director:
BLACK CHRISTMAS (1974)
and A CHRISTMAS STORY (1983) ----> both directed by Bob Clark.
One's creepy as hell, the other funny as hell.
Oooh I like to watch HOME ALONE, and THE CITY OF LOST CHILDREN at Xmas time too.

You can't go wrong with It's a Wonderful Life. (Get this: my wife didn't see it until last year and she was 25! And she wasn't raised by wolves!) Thank God they only play it once a year! Remember when TNT, TBS and NBC would show it about 8,000 times every holiday season?
Best comedy: Bad Santa (Elf, Christmas Vacation, and A Christmas Story are also classic)
