Firstly, It's absolute rubbish that women are not visually stimulated. I am a woman, and let me tell you, I am visually stimulated.
Unfortunately for women, the porn industry caters to men and their desires. Which is why it is so common to see a big fat hairy monkey man having sex with 3 women who have been surgically enhanced to perfection. And why they have to pretend to orgasm from giving these guys blowjobs, etc. If porn were catering to women's tastes, there would be a lot more oral (on her) and slow, sensual sex scenes in there. Of course I cannot speak for all women. Desire comes in all forms.
While women may be turned on by watching porn, they also have to deal with the different issues it raises for them. Firstly is the pain and degradation suffered by the women that made the film, which becomes symbolic of the suffering all females suffer for the titilation of men. Secondly, they worry their bodies do not match up to the ideal on screen and they are being unfavourably compared to these women, which is bad for their self esteem. Thirdly that the films do not reflect their desires (the men are all ugly for a start, so as not to threaten the virility or sexuality of the male viewer) and do not stimulate them.
These issues are often to much to overcome for women, who cannot be turned on because these complications.
There are some makers of female erotica out there but they are few and far between. Unfortunately.

We were talking about this a my Psych class last week. Men are visually "turned on" when watching sex. That same part of the brain that is stimulated in men, usually isn't in women. Women are more stimulated by romance and love, which is why most of them are unfazed by porn, or at least doesn't turn them on as much as guys do.
though some girls are an exception...

Men love stimulation in any form, be it physical OR mental, where as women prefer to be the objects causing that stimulation or be the objects on the receiving end , getting and experiencing the reactions of those aroused males .

Look, men are visual creatures. Women are sensual creatures.
Why do you think women watch chick flicks, now those turn women on. It has to be more than just a piece of ***, unlike your simple nature of 'uhh, me man, like see boobs'!
And for your information, I happen to like porn, when it displays a little sensuality. (I have a collection!)

Because we can't figure out why the women in them will strip naked for the world to see but feel the need to keep their shoes on. Is this a modesty issue?

I'm not excited by it because it pisses me off to see women being submissive and looking weak. And the whole getting *** shot in your face by multiple guys is SO gross and I really think only the most desperate-for-attention person would be able to pretend to enjoy that. Too much porn is abusive and like a rape fantasy, so seeing it makes me get angry at society, rather than getting in the mood.

I know most people will think I'm full of $%!& but I'm not the only one who thinks like this:
