Anything is possible. Drugs in the long run hurt you more than help you.

I believe it can happen.

essentially all elite Olympic sprint athletes are cheaters. The Russians. The Brits. The Germans, East and West. The New Zealanders. The Cubans. And, yes, the Americans. I think there are probably more (steroid users) than most people would care to admit and probably less than what the general public thinks drugs undetectable by standard testing,elite athletes are faced with the choice to "break the rules or lose." Elite track and field shed its amateur skin years ago. And while the motivations for taking the plunge into cheating through drugs seem to vary, the financial opportunities have increased sharply.

Yes in most events, when it come to sprint it's more doubtful. I don't think anyone of the topsprinters would reach the times they do without artificiall help during the training. Just look at the difference in body mass between american trained sprinters and contenders from other nations.

Yes of course, not all are taking dope.
Some people are very determent to achieve their goal and they will.

It is and taking drugs disqualifies you anyway.
