The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence and even as small children the other kid always got the better lollipop. Envy is a very big part of the human makeup. Maybe it is what makes humans keep striving for better as we are never satisfied.

Well it goes back to when we were little when your mom said dont touch the burner, you have a natural instinct to get or do what you cant have or do. It is the natural human way. If you see some shoes you want your like oh those are cute but if someone says you cant have them, you automatically want them
